THE GROEN NATURE PRESERVE CURRENTLY HAS 1.8 MILES OF TRAIL OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. THIS SECTION LOOPS BY THE LAKES AND IS OPEN FOR HIKING. THE REMAINDER OF THE PRESERVE WILL REMAIN CLOSED WHILE WE CONTINUE TRAIL CLEANUP FROM THE ICESTORM. WE APPRECIATE YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND PATIENCE DURING THIS PROCESS — THANK YOU!

BEFORE YOU VISIT

Trail Access Information

Trails are open five-seven days a week based on seasonal hours
Access is permitted only when the gate is open, and a ranger is on duty
The parking lot and gates close at 6:00 PM
Night hiking is not allowed
